Zermatt luxury holiday Chalet Nevis is a very centrally located sunny apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Offered on a self catered basis for ski holidays in the winter or mountain summer holidays, Nevis is on the second floor, faces south and has superb views over the village and the Matterhorn. It has a large sunny main balcony, and an additional balcony by the master bedroom.
It is situated in the heart of Zermatt, right by the Beau-Site hotel, a 7 minute walk from the Sunnegga Express lift and 3 minutes from the main shopping streets. It also has the rare advantage of being ski-in up to the end of February (depending on snow conditions).
There are three double bedrooms where the beds can be configured as double or twins. One bathroom has a bath and W/C, the other a shower and W/C.
This spacious, light and bright apartment has an open plan kitchen with a central island flowing on to the dining area and the sitting room.

Chalet Nevis has flat access with no steps at all: your electric taxi can drive right up to the front door and a lift will take you to the second floor.
There is also a short-cut to the village down a short and steepish pedestrian route.
The chalet itself is very close to one of Zermatt’s best bakeries, and is 3 minutes away from the main supermarket (Migros). There are many restaurants and cafés in the vicinity.

Chalet Nevis provided an outstanding Zermatt experience for my family. We spent a week and really enjoyed the apartment. The view of the Matterhorn, the surrounding mountains and of Zermatt were amazing, and the location, just a few minute walk to town was perfect for a week of skiing, sightseeing and enjoying the beautiful village of Zermatt. Communication with our host prior to arrival was fantastic with all of our questions being answered very quickly, including tips on where to eat and what to do. Upon our arrival we were greeted at the train station and taken up to the chalet where we had all of our questions about the area answered and were able to get information we needed to plan our week. The apartment was exactly as described in the listing, no surprises. The fridge was stocked with some essentials for us to use upon arrival, before we had a chance to go out and pick up groceries from either of the two nearby markets. It even had a fully decorated tree as we were there over Christmas week. The daily emails from mountain exposure with ski condition reports, suggestions on where to ski and what to do on the one day that most of the lifts were closed due to high wind / bad weather were also extremely helpful. It was really nice to have local experts help us make the best of our time in Zermatt. We really could not have asked for more for our holiday in the alps. I would highly recommend this property, or one of the others from mountain exposure if you are planning a trip to Zermatt. You won't be disappointed.
