The Mountain Exposure summer team on a day out at Testa Grigia

Zermatt is the only ski resort in the world where the skiing never closes! The summer ski area is open as usual, and new this year, the cable car joining the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise to the Italian cable car station at Testa Grigia is running. This means that pedestrians can go all the way from Zermatt to Cervinia and back, across the highest border crossing in the Alps! Or you can do a shorter trip and get off at Testa Grigia, enjoy the spectacular views and have an Italian lunch in the Rifugio Guide del Cervino.
