We have had a fresh snowfall of 20cm on the upper pistes. All five ski areas (Sunnegga, Gornergrat, Matterhorn, Cervinia and Valtournenche) are open and linked. Given the warm temperatures over the last week, there is no longer snow in the village, however the upper slopes have above average snow depth (210cm at the top) and the skiing conditions are superb, with 185km of open runs, 1,800m of vertical and powdery winter snow, Zermatt continues to offer the best skiing currently in the Alps.
