Front Office / Guest Services Executive
Do you have fluent English with some German and/or French? Would you like to live in the Alps? Come and join our small team managing our front office in Zermatt, Switzerland. Mountain Exposure are looking for a person with experience in holiday/hotel accommodation and providing client assistance. Ideally you will have experience working for an online travel agency with concierge services or five star hotel front desk experience as well as experience of living in a mountain resort. You need to be literate with good writing skills and also computer literate, skilful with social media, outgoing and people friendly
Zermatt is a lively place year round, with 5,000 permanent residents and up to 30,000 guests in the winter and summer peak seasons. It's a wonderful combination of a villagey town surrounded by stunning nature, and a cosmopolitan destination with an international buzz.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Advising clients prior to arrival and handling their requests
- Liaising with agents and other third parties about the clients they book with us
- Meeting and greeting clients
- In-resort concierge and client assistance
- Daily closing procedures
- Helping with company administration, bookings and office organisation
- Social media upload and maintenance
