Chalet Ourea is a very elegant 5 star free-standing house that can accommodate up to 20 people as well as seat all at one dining room table - no other chalet in Zermatt has this capacity combined with this level of luxury.

Just completed, Ourea is a modern-traditional chalet combining warm larch wood, a sloping beamed roof, 5 metre high wall to ceiling windows, wide terrace balconies and of course Matterhorn views. The pear-tree woodwork and fittings are all bespoke, while the bathrooms and kitchens are leading edge. It is in the process of being furnished by our interior decorator whose brief is to create a delicate mix of new and old, modern and alpine. The quiet location of this chalet is one of its best features. Whilst being well positioned in the village between the main lift system (Matterhorn Express) and the nearest shops and night life ( both a 6 minute walk), it nonetheless affords an unrestricted view of the Matterhorn across wooded hills and snow fields. There are two paths to the chalet; c. 60 metres gently uphill from the nearest bus stop and taxi drop; or along a slightly longer flat path from the next stop. The chalet comprises 4 apartments, each of which has its own kitchen and living room, making them fully independent should this be required. Ourea can be rented as one unit, or alternatively each apartment (or any combination thereof) may be rented separately. Most of the beds can be made up as singles or doubles, depending upon your requirements.
